Zach Charles?
I was just skimming through the box score and I see that Zach Charles didn't have any receptions. I remember seeing him on the field early. Did he get dinged up too though?
The (Graduated) "OU Falcon"
I felt bad about losing the game today, but just thinking that Ransom my have torn an ACL, that makes me feel sick. Our coaches went after this kid because he helped fill a void on the team. This kid came to us after being a JUCO AA from down in Texas, he battled through the hamstring injury in camp, then a game and a half into the season, he might be gone. It would be such a shame. Yeah, I know, injuries are part of the game. But when it happens to a Falcon, my heart goes out to them. I guess all we can do is wait for an official word and cross our fingers it’s not something torn.

Re: Zach Charles?
I'm pretty sure he played the whole game, at least returning punts. I don't remember seeing him much on offense, but I'm sure he was out there with the 5-wide sets.rc_ziggy84 wrote:I was just skimming through the box score and I see that Zach Charles didn't have any receptions. Did you forget a guy named Marques Parks? Seems as if he's come to play...and pretty well the past 2 games...TG1996 wrote:I hope someone tells Corey we don't have a game next week!falconfan1999 wrote:I hope Corey is back for next week!![]()
But yeah, I agree with ya. We need #1 back on the field. Add him with what we saw from Freddie and Derek Brighton, along with a nice TD grab by Tyrone Pronty... Mmmmm....wide receiver depth.

One thing to think about....we could (and maybe should) move Dan Macon back to RB...assuming that Ransom is gone...rather be able to use an experienced RB in that three deep rotation...But Jeter definitely looked as good as advertised...just hope for no more injuries at the RB spot... could wreak havoc on our overall depth.BGSU33 wrote:Oh man do I hope this isn't the case!!! This would be a very bad loss for us. This is not the kind of news I was expecting to hear.BGFootball wrote:The word is Ransom has a torn ACL, not good...probably out for a looooong time...
