24-14 near the end of the half. Toledo just continues to commit stupid penalties.

I listened to this game on the way home from E Lansing until I couldn't hear Mark Bier's annoying RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRockettes calls anymore. I must say I was quite pleased when I got home and saw the score. UT must now head to Kansas before hosting Iowa State and WMU. Could UT be 0-5 starting the season? Stupid penalties indeed...

I know that this won't be popular on here, but I really have no problem with UT winning. I really don't mind if they win the west. I would rather we win the MAC, but I can handle UT winning that every now and then as well.

However, I'm glad to see UT lose in MAC play simply because they are getting their butts kicked outside the MAC. If they are going to have embarrasing losses outside the MAC, I want them to lose in MAC play as well.

I heard a Big10 comment that the Big10 is doing well right now because they only have 4 losses. My comment was that their wins have mostly been to substandard opponents. Their refutation was that Purdue beat Toledo. At least the next comment I could make was that CMU beat them just as badly, so maybe CMU should be in the Big10.

It's just that simple. I don't want the MAC champion to be getting their butt kicked outside the conference.

Plain and simple, UT has regressed from last season. Their secondary is awful, their D-line is awful, and they were lucky they were playing a CMU team who has just about the same problems on defense. I don't root for UT to win, simply because if I do, I'm placing a double standard with myself that just doesn't sit very well. With that defense, I wouldn't be surprised if KU lays 50+ again on them.

104 points against a Big 10 and MAC team for UT, 52 regulation, 59 incl. OT for BG against 2 Big 10 teams, safe to say it's nice to be a Falcon student right now where things are.
