Good luck to James!

The Bruins re-signed Jordan Sigalet today, too.

Speaking of former players, Jeremy Bronson got his Master's Degree at last Saturday's graduation ceremony.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

In somewhat unrelated news, Mike David's son and Patrick's brother, Ryan, will take over as the student equipment manager as Ryan Ward will be the video coordinator this year.

And he looks just like his brother Patrick!!! Some people will do a double take when they see him!!! Welcome, Ryan!!!

Under the catagory of good news for BG "Alumni".
I went up to Adrain College for Ron Fogarty's 1st home game as Coach at Adrian. AC won 9 - 1 Friday. lost Saturday.
Ron has a new facility and new fans.
The fans up there need a good lesson in cheered and interacting, such as "Hey Wilkins, you are terrible and ugly etc" and score ounting. Some of us should plan a road trip.

Jeremy Cross BGHS was in goal for a while Friday and had a perfect save percentage.

Falcons in Fremont, Shawn Timm, Eric Hoffberg

Also-
Forgot to mention that we ran into Shawn Timm at the Niagara game. He looks great, and is very happy working at Fisher-Price. While we were talking, someone came up and asked about Eric Hoffberg who assisted Buddy one year. Shawn said he ran into Hoffberg giving a motivational speech somewhere. Sure enough, that's what he's doing:

They announced on the Wednesday (10/24) Wings/Canucks game that Kevin Bieksa had to fly home to be with his wife Katie, who was giving birth to their first child. They they announced on the 10/28 game that the Bieksa's had a little boy...Cole, I think.

It's also great to hear Ken Daniels from Fox Sports Detroit say "former Bowling Green Falcon" or "Bowling Green State University's" Kevin Bieksa. Bieksa plays quite a bit and in all situations so it's something you hear a lot. I said last night that if weren't a Bieksa or BGSU fan, you were probably tired of hearing his name! :)

CONGRATS KEVIN AND KATIE!

Roger that. I turned on the game mainly to see him. I watched the first period, saw his goal, and moved to other things. I think that if I had to choose between Bieksa and the Blue Jackets, I'd take Bieksa.
