Suite in the Northwest Corner?

Post by BGSU33 »

Has there been any word or sign of the suite they were talking about putting in the northwest corner of the stadium?

Also, does anyone know if the new banners are up yet? If so, how do they look? If not, when are they going up?

The NW corner "suite" is a basically a canopy tent on some risers. It was at Perry Stadium for the '05 Toledo game, IIRC.

What I remember is it resembled something they use for NFL halftime shows or gameday from the field level. Nothing spectacular to see.

I think we were all hoping for something a little nicer than that. Have you actually seen the thing this year yet?

The parts were laying there when I went by at noon. I sure hope they get all of the "garbage" in the area behind the south end zone cleaned up, especially near that little barn. It looks BAD right now. It would also have been nice if they would have sodded or seeded the areas there that got beat up during the "returfing"!

Here's the one inside. The elevator one I believe was supposed to go up yesterday, too.

2 words, Marny Oestrang!!! I can't wait until she gets inducted into the Hall of Fame. That will be a party and a half.

Just drove by there this afternoon. The banner is up on the East elevator, and it looks awesome.

The Suite also looked to be up. Pretty much a platform with a bunch of chairs on it, covered by an EZ-UP.

I plead the 5th on that because my answers may incriminate myself and I am a married man now.
