I think what you see this year is the result of the kid being given time to develop out of the spotlight and criticism of the fans, press and opponents. If he would have been smacked around last year I doubt he would have come with the same strong start he has had so far. Nothing that he has done this year indicates to me that he is missing experience or has been harmed in any way by learning from the sidelines last year.
tossed Gauld out there ( who was my pick if you go back in time) My point is GB wasted the whole of last season "developing" what could not be developed when we had QUALITY options which would have put us ahead in the curve right now. Thats all Im saying.
