Dear Mrs. 1987. Please let Noah stay up past his bedtime on Tuesday as we will need him to ensure our victory over the Rockettes.

And let Santa bring 1987 a big bonus and a trip to a bowl game with Noah.

I think Noah is off from school Wednesday, so we'll be trying to channel The Streak through the TV ... his TV streak hasn't been so hot - we watched parts of both Miami games last year on TV, as well as this year's NIU game ... uh-oh, I may have to NOT watch the game. Yikes.

I read through this thread and Michelle and I would probably not be able to make it up to Detroit for the MAC Title Game, but we would try. As for the bowl situation, we just do not have the funds to head out to San Jose, CA, although I would love to do that. I think we could swing Alabama if we leave at night and I stop and sleep at rest areas (at least on the way down). The MCB would be a sure thing for us as it was last year. We'll see. Every late November, the company tallies up our remaining vacation time, and we can either cash it in or carry the time over. I always seem to have a lot of time left. Our MCB trip last year was done with my cash-in check. I could probably do the same heading down to Mobile, AL. San Jose would be difficult, though, because I'm not driving out there. I would probably drive down to Alabama, although flying might be a better idea. Hey, gang, let's see what happens with NIU this weekend, then let's beat those Rockets, then we can talk about our bowl trip!
