Battle of the BG Mayors
Interesting tidbit. Both mayors of Bowling Green have agreed to a little competitive wager where the losing city must fly the other team's flag at their city hall for the duration of the following week. Glad to see them having fun with this.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.

As of right now, the top hits for "Bowling Green" are:The Niz wrote:The article for this is listed on the BGSU athletic site. They stated in the article that when you google "Bowling Green" we come up first and the Kentucky town second. The university does actually come up first, however, our fair town comes up a few threads after BG KY.

I can't figure the Department of Philosophy hit out, though. Is Paul Olscamp out there somewhere, Google bombing?

My best friend, who is getting her PhD in Philosophy, told me that BG has one of the best graduate philosophy programs in the country. Maybe that's part of it? But we certainly have other strong programs, so I'm not sure why this one specifically would pop up.Schadenfreude wrote:The Niz wrote:The article for this is listed on the BGSU athletic site. Carty what a total MORON...he and his staff are having thier way and ruining the Westfield mall by not making proper changes to inhibit miors from haning out and not allowing the mall to kick them out..."kids need a place to go" well they should hang out at his office.
As for JQ one hell of a fine individual, from a brief talk we had last year as he stopped on his walk this is his last term...he has done a lot of good for BG. A great educator who could get you excited about the subject, and good mayor. Wish toledo had him.
