The "student side" of the stadium is what we consider to be the home side of the stadium, and in essence makes sense that we play most of our shows to that side. On occasion we have split the band and played to both sides, but that's a pretty rare occurance. Besides, no offense to you Sooner, but there always seems to be more paid fans on the west side of the stadium than on the east (I know where the student section is as well because they all stand). In anycase, from where I sit with the FMB, the west side has had more fans (whether student or otherwise) than the east side, so it sort of makes sense that we play to that side.Dr.Sooner wrote:I suppose this has been asked/answered before, but why does the band always play to the student side of the stadium?????? That sounds correct to my aging mind. In addition, I remember you tooting my horn a few times while we lived together. In addition, I remember our phones tooting their respective horns on the way to Oklahoma in '04. Oh yeah, my copies of K1 and K2 are just fine (MUCHAS GRACIAS), but the K3 DVD doesn't work. Agreed. I remember many a people (myself included) asking on the field prior to its performance "Hey, what key is this in?," and then improving from there.
