Carlson, you should definitely go January 5th. (Have you decided on the Toledo game yet?)

That is the only one I can make. Unfortunatley, I'll be back in Missouri for the other 2, but I'll be in the area on the 5th, so I can think of no better way to spend the day.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to the UT game in November. 1/5 probably won't happen, as I have to teach on 1/7, and I just don't want to spend the whole day before classes driving. Are you headed to the UT game? You could have Thanksgiving with my family in Chicago if you want. OK, that's all.

Thanks for the offer, but I will be in Ohio the whole week of Thanksgiving, since Mizzou gives us the whole week off. I am definitely going to the Toledo game though. I can't wait!

Hey now, the quality of education I'm getting at Mizzou is just as low as what you're getting at KU!!

As far as booing the Tigers, ehh, whatever. I should be more of a fan than I am, but I'm much more loyal to the Falcons, so booing the Tigers doesn't bother me all that much.

Just as a reminder, there is an Alumni Athletic band event this weekend!!
BG Hockey vs. Notre Dame on Saturday 1/26/08. If you decide to come and join in, be there at 6:00. For any graduated Maggots, (or tuba players), there are 5 horns there already, however there are at least 2 current maggots who will be using two of them. I hope to see a lot of you there and join in on the fun with several current a-band members!!

The director will be a familiar face. ;-)

Where's the "Student" A-band going to be? Basketball at the same time?

There's a large enough base group where there can be dual duty. We'll have about a dozen or so alumni with about 30-40 students. It will be a nice sized band.

If there are any students reading this, bring copies of the BG News with you!

We normally have at least a couple students bring a good stack or two to each hockey game since a lot of us either forget or just don't run across anywhere there's a bgnews.
BGMaggot, The "student" (or current) a-band will be located in the same place you guys will be at, our call time is 6 although we have apparently been invited to join you guys at 5. It'll be a great time had by all!! And I couldn't ask for a better game to have the alumni show up!! BG Vs. 9th(?) Ranked-Notre Dame!!
