Barnes would certainly bring great size and athleticism to the position we've never quite had, but its obvious GB prefers all of his elite athletes on O. I'm guessing the defensive coaches don't win to many player position change battles with GB. I'm not saying Barnes should be moved to safety but it's certainly intriguing nonetheless.

NOOOOOOOO! Keep him at WR for the love of God! He's so clutch and not afraid at all of making a big catch or scoring a TD when we need one! He also keeps some people off of CP. Please don't put him at safety, anybody but my boy Freddie B!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

Have no fear FootbalFan, GB wouldn't let it happen anyway. Freddie will likley be a WR for the rest of his days at BG.

I agree. If we had some other stud WR come alive last year , moving FB to safty would've been good move, but not now. The less position changes a player goes through the better.

Riiiiiiiiiggggght...that's why Mahone and Brown, two tremendously talented HS running backs were moved on over to defense when they got here and Mark Woolridge, a *** RB was mentioned as a candidate to move to DB on signing day....GB just completely overlooks the defense....Falconboy wrote:its obvious GB prefers all of his elite athletes on O. One thing we are NOT short on on either side of the ball this year is athletes

Well, luckily for us we wern't short on RB's when Mahone and Brown came in. If we had been those two could possibly be rbs today. I should've said GB prefers most of the elite athletes for offense as he's an offense guy. If he were a defensive guy he'd be the other way probably. Your right on Mahone he is a elite athlete that is playing the best position safety , after all he was rated like #36 or something in the nation at safety.Flipper wrote:Riiiiiiiiiggggght...that's why Mahone and Brown, two tremendously talented HS running backs were moved on over to defense when they got here and Mark Woolridge, a *** RB was mentioned as a candidate to move to DB on signing day....GB just completely overlooks the defense....Falconboy wrote:its obvious GB prefers all of his elite athletes on O.
