ok one more...first play from scrimmage following the kickoff, Rashad Jennings (formerly of Pitt) rushes for a 63 yd td...LU back up 14-10...then toledo just drove down the field and is back up 17-14.

Question for one and all, What if this scenario plays out, however unlikely it may be.

Toledo loses today and several other games and the Rockets decided to go another direction at HC due to the issues with McDougle and the poor year. IMO Brandon and Christopher should be on the phone with Amztutz the next day and offer him some sort of assistants job, Assistant HC, OL, whatever. We would get a great coach who knows the area well, perhaps get some recruits to jump ship and some transfers. I dont think the negatives outweight he positives here. when is his contract up.

+1. Barring vehicular homicide on Amstutz's part, or something equally crazy, his job is secure.

Secure in the sense that they have no money to buy him out...

If things got really bad, I bet "Gary" would be able to scratch some dough together...

No, I mean secure, period. Even if he loses today, of all days.
