Congrats to BC
The difference between this year's team and last year's team is striking. Our QB situation last year was challenging at best, our defense was non-aggressive/slow , the kicking game was an embarrassment, and the offensive play-calling was simply atrocious -- no sense of creativity or imagination at all; it was simply 0. In only one game last year did our offensive play calling people step out of their routine --- and that was the OU game, and we won. This year we have a potentially great QB, an aggressive defense (at least they're faster than last year's group), we've got great kickers and the play-calling is a 1000 fold more imaginative. So there is decided improvement. However, the boat seems to have sprung a new leak --- TOO MANY MISTAKES (OF ALL KINDS) ARE KILLING US. Without the mistakes, this team could really be undefeated at this point. The interceptions, the holding calls, the offside calls, etc. are eating this team alive. And unless this stuff gets fixed, every game will continue to be a challenge, a source of frustation.
