Week 5 Game balls..

Post by Falconfreak90 »

As bad as the outcome was Saturday, we still had 465 yards in total offense and had some other positives vs. the now, #4 BC Eagles.

My 3 games balls go to...

1) CP and FB. They had monster days. CP had 12 catches for 100 yards and FB had 8 catches for 112 yards. The dynamic duo continue to tear teams up and CP is really banged up right now. Both have BiG time guts.

2) Anthony Glaud. While he threw one pick, I thought he played pretty well. 10-15 for 126 yards and a score. Good to see him get action against a BiG time opponent.

3) The team. Yeah, we were done by halftime as far as winning the game. BUT, this team did not pack it in and quit. You find out a lot about character when everything is going wrong and the kids kept playing hard and battling to the end. I love seeing that attitude. This team will win many more games the rest of the year and controls its destiny.

3A) Sinisa Vrvilo. Perfect on all kicks again. Vrvilo is doing quite a job as he is now 19-19 on XP's and 7-9 on FG's.

Any thoughts?

Good performances in an "exhibition" game!

Now it's time for our season. October will make or break our season and it all starts with the Redskins.

Beat MIAMI!

I've been waiting for you to start this, Freak! Where 'ya been? :)

I have one, and only one game ball to give out:

Dan Macon. To see him come in late to get some positive yards and put one in the end zone was nothing short of awesome to see. I couldn't be happier for him.

Ahhhh BO! I was riding 4 wheelers yesterday out in New London...no time to log on.

Good one about Macon. I was happy for him as well getting the TD run.

Feel free, anyone, to start this thread any week. I think it's cool to see what other folks think.

1. Freddie Barnes- If you haven't noticed he scores TD's. Oh and he is also clutch on big 3rd & 4th downs!

2. Sinisa Vrvilo- I think this is the 5th straight week has made my game ball list? Wow this guy can kick!

3. Dan Macon- A lot of discussion is being made on this board about the RB spot. Bullock, Geter, and maybe even Turner. But Macon ran like his hair was on fire, and deserves a game ball and shot to be our RB. He's still one of the fastest if not thee fastest player we have & he was running with a purpose against BC!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

The entire second team O gets one in my opinion. I know BC might have been playing a vanilla D and it was there 2nd teamers but we had some running plays and punched it in a couple times.
