Sounds like a nice machine. My initial reaction is that you gotta love the Asus Mobo. Tell ya what, I don't think I'd ever buy another brand of mobo, I've had good success with them.BGSUfanatUT wrote:Hammb, here's what I got-
AMD Athlon 64 3400 proc
ASUS NVIDIA nForce3 Chipset For AMD Socket 754 CPU
1 GB(for now) Corsair DDR PC3200 dual channel RAM(ill upgrade to 2GB soon)
Western Digital Raptor 74GB 10,000RPM SATA Hard Drive
Lite-On 8X Double Layer DVD+/-RW Drive
EVGA nVidia GeForce 6800 GT Vid card (my baby)
plus the essentials like floppy and Zip drives, onboard sound on the Mobo
I got a NzXT Guardian case very cool looking. http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDe ... 003&depa=1
I plan to add some more LED fans and cold cathode lighting to the tower later. (no funds right now)
All told it cost a little under $1300 for the set up. I should get around $500 for my current machine, though I havent found a buyer yet. (which I will use for a smooth 19" LCD monitor!)
