If I could actually afford to go to the game, I'd go, and if I had a car up here so I could drive myself home after the game, I'd go, but alas, not this year. So make sure you guys make Toledo feel your prescence, and make sure someone laughs extra hard for me when whatever stupid stunt they have planned thats going to be "national news", blows up in their face. So i'll just have to do my tailgaiting at EMU

I am almsot positive its a bluff.
1) they arent smart enough to do anything good.
2) if they wanted to be "secretive" about it, they wouldnt post about it at all
3) if they do anythign this "huge", it will surely make the whoel university look bad(if thats possible, go homicide attempting football players! go injuring yourself sitting in a chair! F'n n00bs)
4) if they put antyhing near our section, I will personally destroy it.

I hope they try to mess up our tailgate too, I want to beat some ass.

I hope you are kidding about this. I want no part of any kind of controversial tailgating that might make the news and make the BG fans look bad. We are above this stuff.

Anyway, back on topic:

What times are people planning on getting into toledo? I said Id be there at noon, btu it sounds liek no one else will be there near that early, so that means I could be playing World of WarCraft longer. If you all could post or pm to me what tiem you will be there, I can make a schedule so that I will know what time to get there and reserve our spots. Most of my crew wont get there til after 1:30 either, and i dont really want to sit there in the parking lot for 2 hours waiting for people. Thanks

I am probably going to arrive around 5:00 (I have class until 3:45 and have to change...

). I would really like to hit the tailgate for as long as I can before the game, but I am not quite sure where lot 25 is. Is that the one next to Rocket Hall? I know where that one is because I parked there for TU's Ball State game this year. If it is a different lot I'm going to need a bit of help...

That's exactly what I keep thinking. I was originally going to find another lot at some point, for a moment, to meet up with a guy I know that's a UT grad. I don't know if I want to trust anyone on that campus if I'm walking through it with BG stuff on that day. Too many idiots.

Well, as it looks like no one will be there until at least 1, neither will I. After being threatened by toledo fans nemerous times, sitting there in a parking lot is not at the top of my list of things I want to do.

I should probably be there areound 1:30pm when some others that I know will arrive. As much orange as possible shall be made viewable from long distance as to make it easier for you all to find us, as well as to show the rockettes how much we support our team.

I feel we can win this game with ease if we play our game. But get off jsut for a bit, and we could be in serious trouble. Im looking forward to meeting everyone(finally), and hopefully a great celebration afterwards!

so 1:30 is the probably ETA right now. If anyone wants to get my cell # to call when they get there, send me a PM, i'd post it, but some lurkers may decide to have some fun with it if I did.

Everyone remember we are all representatives of our university--even when provoked just smile and turn away. Nothing anyone says to you is worth the trouble that responding might bring about. Whether we are on the road or at home, show class. People will try to start things, but the best way to disarm it is to not react. That just takes the bite out of what they are doing.
