Yeah, while I am a big fan of AT (not sure why), he is not the answer. There definitely needs to be something done to get the running game going, but AT is not the answer...MACON IS!!! A guy Brandon didn't give a ton of chances to, he gave the ball to Bullock way too soon in my opinion. We gotta get a Pope/Lane style backfield going again...maybe Geter/Macon is the answer??? nothing wrong with 3 wide and 2 RB's...I think it could help this offense a lot.

Of course, because QB draws are the way to win football games.

It is easy to jump on the QB when he is down. Where were you when Tyler was hot? Thought so.

I have been here ALL YEAR! All the excuses are being made for Sheehan and hope for the un-proven in Glaud (who will be good but not his time yet) why not just go with the experience and let him run the offense with 5 recievers and no backs. Something they didn't do last year thats why the draw didn't work, it was too crowded. Let AT throw pass and add the draw/option we have Oregon Ducks offense and they arn't doing bad. Whats wrong with at least trying it?

Macon stinks, all he ever does is dance around in the backfield. He doesn't hit the holes hard at all. Bullock does. I'd much rather have Bullock in the backfield than Macon, or Geter. Geter's better suited as a slot receiver, maybe taking a few carries to spell Bullock.

Macon looks better than any other back (even if he is going against the second team defense).

While I don’t think Turner is the answer to our offensive woes, I will say I don’t mind seeing us mix things up with him in there from time to time. But what kills me is, when we do put him in there, everyone under the sun knows what he’s going to do this year with him – and that’s run the football. He’s attempted just one pass and has rushed 24 times. I’m not saying he need to go out there and throw 20 times a game, but damn, mix it up a little when you put him in and toss a few passing plays his way and keep the defense honest. He’s averaging about 5 yard per carry which is solid, but we aren’t fooling anyone with what we are going to do when Turner takes a snap. The kid threw for 1,596 yards (57%) with 11 TD’s last year, he knows how to do it.

I agree that Macon should play over Bullock. It sucks because Bullock was such a stud for us last year and is actually a better pure running back. But for some reason he doesn't have his head in the right spot and continues to fumble, run the wrong routes, and miss blocking assignments. Brandon said this went on all on spring and its obviously carrying over into the season now. We can't afford that, especially when we have someone as fast as Macon on the bench who has been running with his hair on fire lately. Geter is decent but he can't carry the load throughout the season. He'd be great to use for screens and such on 3rd down. No matter what we shouldn't be throwing the ball 60 times a game when we have someone as talented as Dan Macon playing 3rd string RB and would be 4th string (Ransom).
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!
