The history is there...follow as the tradition returns!
MACMAN

Answer option #1
Go traditional Organ only.
Opt two, go retro traditional and Organ with a small grouping from the BGSu band.

Opt three go Modern and update the funky dead sound system and start playing some Adrenalin kicking tunes! (as you put it caned ) and come up with a compilation that is BGSU unique.

4 go totally kicking and just get an awesome Rock cover band to play live.

there are several avenues to take...i like all of them, but with the "caned music" we use better material.

I'm shocked we don't hear "Tootsee Roll" (69 Boyz) at many of our games.

Sure, it's a bit racy. Candy is not what they have in mind.

And yet, it's up tempo, and a natural for us.

If we are already chucking Tootsie Rolls around with every touchdown and goal: Why not?

Is MACMAN the only person who doesn't like the A-band being there, or is that a much more widespread opinion?

I love the A-band and I think they can be an excellent way to get fans motivated and lead cheers.

"Back in the day" the A band was fabulous. They've been getting better, but for a long time they may as well have not been there. They looked and acted like they wanted to be somewhere else, and didn't know when and when not to play. Having a conductor who knows hockey is important....not to mention NOT clashing with the dj. If I had a choice, the band would be there w/o the dj. Bring the dj in when the band can't be there.

The organ is gone so that point is moot....
