It sounds like EMU is outplaying them, but NIU has made the defensive plays (2 picks, fumble), while EMU has dropped INT's or not stayed in bounds on a pick. It could have gotten out of hand, but that missed FG really helped. Go Emus!! Stopped them on 3rd, going to get the ball back before the half.

They clearly handed it to us, but I think they could get embarassed in a bowl game. They have good, passionate fans, but the team is just not that good.

Actually, this is why I still believe we did everything that game to hand it to ourselves. No disrespect to NIU, but we clearly did not play to our potential. We were flat.
