Is that Mike Hodgson on the far right of that pic, Grant?

This is what college basketball should look like IMHO. You want traditions then this is the BG tradition just like the Miami folks leaving a standing area on the end of their ice arena. Embrace who we are and love the AA experience.ZiggyZoomba wrote:

Grant, that's awesome that you get your seat...this story is great...has ESPN called yet?

I'm sorry but myself and a lot of the rest who have shirts don't even wear them to games anymore. You guys are rude, inconsiderate, and nothing that I was aiming for and to that, I guess I owe an apology to everyone. Personally, I can name 37 people right now who will never stand down there with you all again after watching and listening to most of you who still stand down there last season.Falconboy wrote:The Anderson Animals shouldn't be pushing anyone out of the way.
And yes, I watched all of you push many people out of the way almost every game.

Metz, since your a staple at the mens and not so much if at all at the women's games , is all of this happening at the mens games? I can't say I've actually seen people push others out of the way at a women's game. Maybe I'll pay more attention to see if this is happening. Your say you know 37 people who don't stand on the sidelines anymore cuz of this behavior. Gosh, if you all decided to get to the games early enough you and said 37 friends could take back the sidelines again. But then again I'm guessing you don't always get to games early.Metz wrote:I'm sorry but myself and a lot of the rest who have shirts don't even wear them to games anymore. Maybe we need a sideline moderator of somekind. There's gotta be a way to instill some civility over there. Love that Michigan crowd pic BTW.

I had better read the thread much closer. I'm really sorry to hear that such a great thing is being ruined. If this type of behavior does not cease I can see future Falcons sitting far away from the floor in a new arena and that stinks.Metz wrote:I'm sorry but myself and a lot of the rest who have shirts don't even wear them to games anymore. Why stop wearing the shirts though. You don't have to be on the sidelines to wear them. I wish we had hundreds of people wearing em in the upper rows too.Metz wrote:I'm sorry but myself and a lot of the rest who have shirts don't even wear them to games anymore.Falconboy wrote:The Anderson Animals shouldn't be pushing anyone out of the way.

This couldn't have happened w/o the football team sitting and standing on the floor... damn, that was an amazing game.

And one more shot from that Michigan game...

Here's the full-sized one of that.

Hey, Grant, let's set up another forum. We can call it "Bad Takes, Unpopular Opinions, and Overall Clueless". You could then move this post to that forum.
Whew, 137, love ya babe, when your off, YOU ARE OFF. I hope you have plenty of rocket fuel. You'll need it to get back home from Mars. I came damned close to WHAMing you.

There is nothing better than our little high school gym packed to the rafters with crowd getting behind our teams.
Remember what Louis Orr said at his first press conference: "If Nate Thurmond can play in it, I can coach in Anderson Arena."
You can keep your 8,000, 10,000 or however many thousand seat new basketball arena - GIVE ME ANDERSON ARENA!!!!

Please define what you mean by staple. And why does it matter? You're at all the games, you should notice these things, too, right?Falconboy wrote:Metz, since your a staple at the mens and not so much if at all at the women's games , is all of this happening at the mens games?
Take back the sideline? It's not a competition, it's not who's standing where...that's why you suck at what you do. My goal was to get everyone involved and participating together. Not a few people standing in the way of others yelling at the officials.Falconboy wrote:Your say you know 37 people who don't stand on the sidelines anymore cuz of this behavior. I get to every game early. Unless of course I have class...some people that go to games actually attend school here. That was the most ridiculous remark I think you've ever made to me.Falconboy wrote:But then again I'm guessing you don't always get to games early.
A sideline moderator? They have them...they tell you to back off the orange. If you get out of control, a police officer will have words with you. I've watched it happen many times.Falconboy wrote:Maybe we need a sideline moderator of somekind. There's gotta be a way to instill some civility over there. Love that Michigan crowd pic BTW.
Wearing a shirt puts me in a class with you and others down there that I don't want to be in. Sorry.Falconboy wrote:Why stop wearing the shirts though. You don't have to be on the sidelines to wear them. I wish we had hundreds of people wearing em in the upper rows too.
