Urban and the Utes
Urban and the Utes
I know some of you may still be a little bitter about Urban leaving and others simply don't care about him or his success, but I'm so glad that they're going to get a shot at the BCS. I hope they put a whipping on whoever they get to play. Time will tell, but Urban could become one of the best coaches of his generation and potentially of all-time and if that happens, I will be very proud to say that he got his start at Bowling Green State Univeristy.

Even though Corso had to try 3 times during the game to spit out what school Urban had previously turned around, I do think the guy is great and I'm sad he wont be headed to South Carolina.
He's a great guy and loves students...it showed in the post-game.

Right...
We have a darn good opportunity to do the same as Utah, next year. With out of conference games against an undefeated Boise team and a good Wisconsin team, we would get much respect with an undefeated season. We also have no D-1AA teams on the schedule next year. A strong finish this year will equate to a start in the top 25 polls next year. We would just need to climb from there. Utah is setting the precedent of a trend that will follow for years to come and we just may benefit because of it.
Bottom line...the BG outlook is good and we will be able to determine our own destiny. We need Utah to represent the little guys well in that bowl game.
