Predictions - lets get 'em started

Post by windycityfalcon »

Hey, we're all excited after Saturday's win at Kent.
And now we're coming home to take on an OU team that lost to Turdledo.
Lets lay the wood on 'em boys..

BG opens up on the ground and Geter's running wild.
But it also opens up the passing attack and Tyler's back on his game.
Everything comes together for the first time this season.

BG: 80
OU: 0

BG opens the scoring with a 59-yard field goal that bounces off the Sebo Center. The Falcons proceed to rack up eight first-half TDs, running soley out of a five-wide set and throwing relentlessly. With the game well in hand, Brandon unveils a double TE wishbone and proceeds to play the entire second half without throwing a single pass. Winovich breaks 100 yards rushing for the first time in his career.

Bonus prediction: There will be at least three post-game threads about attendance.

If GB sticks to the same plan he had against Kent, I can't see Ohio U winning this game. If he reverts back to being pass happy, it'll be tight. Nevertheless, in the end...

BG 41 Ohio 21

McRae is very similar to Jarvis, and I believe if we key on the run, this game will be ours for the taking. In watching the UT/Ohio game, OU's passing attack didn't click until the 4th quarter with I believe the backup in. Bower was awful in the game, and Theo Scott came in to do an admirable job. Being back home should have these guys jacked up.

Ohio turns it over more times than they get past the 50. Willie Geter has 275 all purpose yards, Sheehan shreds the defense to pieces because they are afraid of letting Geter run wild. Ohio puts together late drives against our practice squad defense.

BGSU 49, Ohio 17

I don't know how anyone can predict anything this season - regardless of school.

It's been nuts.

Oh, by the way, BG loses by 10*

Somehow my optimism about the Miami does not seems so misguided this week. :D
