I will be there with a table of friends. Unfortunately, my wife will be there, too.

I almost decided to go until a a fellow falcon gave me a chance at buying men's season b-ball tix for only $45. I took it and decided to save that $35 bucks for lady falcons season tix. Wish I could be there, but I put myself on a budget.

My initial reaction to hearing the new men's coaches speak? "Great, the grown ups are in charge now"

Seems like they had a great rapport with the players too, especially coach Jackson. I liked his nick-names for the players.

I was good to hear that Nate Miller has taken the role as team leader. However, as team leader, he has failed in that not every player on the team has eaten at Mr. Spots. Mr. Miller now knows he has some work to do.

Coach Jackson was awesome.

"We looked at this kid on film and said, 'Is he Division 1?'"
"Well Eric, to be quite honest, didn't look too good on film either."

Coach Stone was good as well, I like how he dogged on the PG play of the past few years...they sound very high on Jakubowski.

I can't wait till Thursday!

It sure was a breath of fresh air to hear the men's coaches talk in such positive terms about each player. I thought the theme on the men's side was build up the players, get the ball up and down the floor, play tough "D", and let things happen! I thought all of the coaches did a GREAT job, and some of their comments were hilarious, as previously mentioned..
I think Coach Miller is relishing the role of this years team and is quietly very confident on the end result. He mentioned over and over that we had 10 freshmen and sophomores on the roster, but also seemed very confidentthat they will be right in the hunt come tournament time.
I think this is going to be a very interesting basketball season at Bowling Green. :D

And not to sound like a sexist pig, even though I am, but the women's basketball team is HOT!

And it should be noted:

I loved hearing Dave's voice back talking about BG basketball. Todd does a good job, but I still miss Dave doing the basketball games.

Todd has greatly improved since starting calling basketball games but Dave is still Falcon sports to me.

Horger and Mark Miller were an excellent, I mean top-notch duo for football games. Great rapport and delivery in the booth.

We need to work on getting Dave in to the M.A.C. broadcasting hall of fame.
