OU Tailgating
I assume the usual location, people, grilling arrangements, team walk...any thing else special going this Saturday?
Heh. Amateur. Freak ALWAYS has room on the Coleman for a few brats. And if he says he doesn't, give him a beer and distract him.SicSic80 wrote:I need to know if Freak is gonna have some room on the Coleman for a few Brats?

LOL! You guys are a trip. Absolutley there will be room on the Coleman grill.
Josh and I will be heading up this week...Jake won't be able to make it due to some behavior issues in school.
It is gonna be tough leaving Sat and he won't be with us. Mrs. Freak is gonna sit this one out as well.
We should be at the Doyt by 2-2:30....depends if we can get there earlier to check out some of the RUGBY matches, which start at 1. I'd like to leave by 10:30 to get us into town by 12:45. I still have to pick up Mrs. Freak's pound of coffee downtown. LOL.
I am hoping my parents, Mom and Dad Freak, will make the game since I'll have 2 extra tickets.
GO FALCONS!!!!! TIME TO GRILL SOME BOBKITTY! Meow.

Alright, I have come to a conclusion as to the food for this Saturday's tailgate.
This is something new that we've never done before, but we're going with Tacos. I'll be making up a large batch of taco meat, refried beans, and I'll have the fixin's as well. Tortillas, cheese, sour cream, salsa, etc, etc.
Honestly, I cannot believe we've never thought of this before, but it should be pretty good.
For this occasion, we'll probably have to forgo the usual beers in favor of margaritas.

Sounds good, I'll bring stuff to contribute to that as well!! We also have a blender (It's ORANGE, of course!), and Margarita mix in the camper already!!hammb wrote:Alright, I have come to a conclusion as to the food for this Saturday's tailgate.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
