I disagree. Since it was started here at BGSU in 1972 it has been the Men's Chorus, not choir. So TRADITIONALLY this group, which you obviously know nothing about, has been called the BGSU Men's CHORUS. IF you took the time to look back into chorus history a little farther you would know that our predecessor was known as the BGSU Men's Glee Club from its beginning in the 1920's up until the 1940's when a lack of males at most colleges due to WWII saw the group disband. So your theory of men's ensembles at BGSU being traditionally called a choir simply does not hold water. It's amazing what a little research can do to make a person smarter.

Way to accept an apology....The guy obviously meant no disrespect by it. No one excpet people in Chorus/Choir knows there is any difference between the two. You Chorus guys need to ease up a little bit here. It's the Journey... wrote:I disagree. Since it was started here at BGSU in 1972 it has been the Men's Chorus, not choir. We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one then. This is not much different than talking with people who think BGSU is a lower division in sports just because we are smaller. It's a mater of taking the time to know what you are talking about.Falcon137 wrote:Way to accept an apology....The guy obviously meant no disrespect by it. I reamin firmly planted on the idea that MACMAN is a highly intelligent satirical genious posting on this site for the sole purpose of getting a rise out of all of us. I forgot about this theory early in my first response to te whole chorus thing. He obviously has just found yet another way to get under a whole new group of people's skin.
Yeah right girl!
