this is different for me, I am more excited about basketball
I am more excited about basketball then football this year. Initially I felt very lukewarm about the Orr hiring, but it has really won me over and I think it was a great move. He will do fantastic. The early signings, the reports of an already more mobile Otis my man, the defections of ZERO players from last years team, the return of my favorite player Nate Miller, the recruiting class this year nabbing guys like Jakubowski out from under people, Getting Chris Knights head straight....I just dont know....It is a rarity that I am more excited about basketball then football. It just seems to me that this team is much more ready to get back to its DakichI days and put behind the days of DakichII.

There seems to be a lot of us that feel the same exact way. I'm itching for the Nov 1 exhibition so I can see the team for the first time.Globetrotter wrote:I am more excited about basketball then football this year. You should probably get that checked out...just kidding...BleedOrange wrote:I'm itching for the Nov 1 exhibition so I can see the team for the first time.
All I know is that I hope that students that are there now get a chance to see basketball like I did my first year there, not like my last 2 years. I plan to make the trip to AA to see some games and I pray the product is better than it was last year...being free, I didn't mind but as I start paying to go to games, I hope it's worth my while and from the sounds of it, it DEFINITELY will be...no more almost losing to Capital for this team!
Go Falcons!
