Actually, that pissed me off a bit. How can one make such a stupid comment? Then I remembered the source....

hmmm....$300,000 to play @ Auburn or $500,000 to play @Oklahoma??

Seeing as us "mid majors" struggle so much with $$$ issues...

how do you chicken out of playing Auburn (who at the time, was like #18) to go play at Oklahoma (who was the #2 team in the nation)?

Corso is a talking head, nothing else.....Herbstreit and Fowler are the only ones who have a clue on that show

Corso has lost his mind. It seemed like College Game Day was trying to piss people off.

Also the comment about Alabama zero chance to win. It's a rivalry game! There is always a chance.

There's also Herbies comments earlier in the week about OSU.

Yeah that whole arguement from Lee made no sense. ...Freak BTW are you still going to that YSU game on 12/13? I should be going. Let me know but I'll probably see ya on tuesday.

Corso, or whoever it was calling the Utah game really pissed me off with some of their comments at the end of the game. They kept going on and on about how Utah had "opened the door" for other mid major schools and that this is what we wanted, a bid to a BCS Bowl. There are a couple of things about this that piss me off. Personally, I'd rather be treated and regarded as equals because well all play IA ball. I get steamed when we get looked down upon because we don't have 100,000 on campus.

I also get steamed because there will be teams in higher ranked BCS Bowls with loses and Utah will be holding the last BCS slot and not have a single loss. If Utah had lost even one game they would be in a similar spot we are, trying to figure out exactly which late december bowl we're going to. Yet there are teams with one or two losses who never really doubted that they would be playing in January.

Yes, I do know this is entirely about money and the "name" of the school, but if the dumb@$$'s at ESPN want to talk about how great it is that Utah is making to a BCS Bowl (which I am not knocking, go Utes!!) why don't they try looking at things from the mid major prespective instead of assuming that because they are the so called "experts" that their oppion is the only one and it's right.

Sorry for the rant, I will get off my soap box now.
