Wester Michigan series

Post by PegCityFalcon »

Western has star Jeff Lovecchio who is playing well. Also 3 NHL drafted Offencive players. Max Campbell and Ryan Watson being freshamn. They were swept by Niagra 4-2, 3-1. I see two hard fought games however the goaltending of Riley Gill will be too much for our Falcons.

WMU 4-2
WMU 3-2

your predictios...

Icers can win if they can sure up their passing game. It killed them against ND. I like the make up of the team, and I think given a few more weekends, they'll mesh together much better. I say a split is likely though, and that is a very good goal to aim for.

I don't know about anybody else, but I feel that WMU and Alaska look to be the only teams at our level. Ferris State trounched Notre Dame 3-0 on Saturday. That was a series I thought we would take. We still have to play the games, but we better get our act together sooner rather than later.

How's BG's power play? Any better than the last few years?

the power play is better, but more importantly our PK is tons better, the players have the speed and sense to get int he lanes and raise havoc, and get the puck out of the zone.

1 for 18 is better? Well, I guess last year we did start 1 for 53, so, I guess it's an improvement.

WOW only 31 hrs and its hockey time!
Aside from my daughter not being able to paly for a few weeks due to a broken arm :( it will be a great hockey weekend!
Nephews #5 Nationally ranked bantam Tier II team plays #1 at 5pm on Saturday, Falcons at home on Saturday and seemingly I should make another falcon hockey game! With Daughter and maybe nephew in tow!
