So who will OSU lose too?

Talk about the Buckeyes the Wolverines the Hilltoppers the Ducks the Beavers the Chanticleers... or anyone else who isn't BG or an opponent in this forum.

Vastly overrated even though Wisky has had the better of OSU lately.

Tressel knew what he was doing this year. Play a bunch of creampuffs and have a shot to get back to the title game. But OSU's D really is that good...

#1 in the nation? Sure...but that ain't saying much this year.
I am still most worried about Illinois. The Zookers can still be dangerous.

The Illini could possibly win out in the MAC but they are not that tough. Passing is average. Ball State had opportunity but failed to make the most of them and fell out of the hunt.

On a side not from watching the game:
I love it when a BiG Ten crowd gets rowdy because the MAC kicker misses a field goal to tie the game. This happened at Ill. in the middle of the game. I think this shows how worried these mid and lower tier BiG Ten schools are about being able to beat the MAC.

Illinois is still the only big ten team to give OSU a tough game in 2 years, when we lost to Penn State early in 2005.

OSU only won like 17-10 last year

I hope you and the entire Suckeye team continue to feel this way. That way, it will be EVEN more of a shock  when Michigan DOES win the game in the Big House

Iwouldnt be shocked, I am just not as worried about them as I am about Illinois. This is why:

Michigan runs about the most basic offense that there is. They have about zero creativity. Lloyd carr doesn't try anything new. Way too old fashioned. That is one reason he will not be back next year. OSU's defense will own such a basic offense.

OSU's offense just keeps getting betterer and Boeckman plays great in the big games. Washington was a big game at the time, Purdue was a big game, and PSU was a huge game. He was great and at his best in all three.

I know he had the three INT's against Purdue but they were trying some things, being agressive and going deep. It happens. He was great when it counted.

The offense is much better than they are given credit for. They are close to the numbers that they put up at this time last year.

Michigan hasn't play a offense as balanced as OSU's except for Oregon. Look at what Oregon did to them. Michigan looks good against teams that are mostly one dimensional. When they have to try to make a team one dimensional they struggle.

I'd kinda like to see Oregon and OSU hook up in a bowl game. The Ducks are a fine team with a wicked offense. If OSU can shut down that team, I will be convinced this is the best defense in college football.

I would take that match up.. OSU has seen that offense before..not the exact offense but they saw Florida and it is similar. They will be much more prepeared for it this year.

But, we shall see. OSU still has to win three games and I am still worried about Illinios fightin zookers

Have you really seen the Oregon offense? They play out on the West Coast so they aren't on the tube a whole lot. Dixon is a bad ass athlete and they have a great attitude. They fear nobody and will play anybody, anywhere. If OR can get past Arizona State, they *should* be able to run the table. UCLA could give them trouble unless the UCLA team that lost to ND and Utah by 38 shows up. And Oregon State is the "Civil War". Great rivalry game so you never know.

IMO, I don't think IL will give OSU much trouble...or Wisky for that matter. Michigan might but I wouldn't bet against OSU this year. I think the humliation in the desert to the Gators has fueled Tressel and his team all year. The only way to forget that night is to go out and win it all. LSU is one team I think OSU would have trouble with...but there ain't many.

Gotta give credit to Tressel and his team. To win 26 or whatever it is games in a row during the regular season is crazy. This team may actually be better than last year's team.

I agree, every team in contention for the title better hope LSU doesn't make it to New Orleans and the title game, I don't think any team will beat LSU in New Orleans

They are a pissed off extremely determined team. You can definately see it. They are hitting hard, I mean killing people out there. It is almost assault. They definately are playing with an attitude that I havent seen in a while. Last year was too easy and they cpasted. This year just looks easy because they are playing hard and focused.

Definately a different team than last year. They aren't better talent wise, but they are better in every other way.

Tressel won't let a debacle like last year happen. They may not win the title game but if they can get there, it will not be a blow out again.

I don't know, LSU has been lucky this year to pull off the wins that they have. Les Miles's gambling will come back to bite him in the ass sometime.

I think LSU and Oregon would be tough games for OSU but they both have been beaten by a lesser team, which tells me they aren't great. They are definately beatable.

We will see how it all plays out.

LSU still has a tough road, OSU still has three big games to play. It could end up being Oregon and Oklahoma in the NC game for all we know.
