Hmm......wish there was a bit more orange highlights in the jerseys, like maybe some kind of striping of some kind down the sides of the tops and shorts.

I believe the brief video on TV showed some orange on the sides.Falconboy wrote:jmillerbg wrote:

I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.
From a visual standpoint, I do like them. But I still feel compelled to ask: Is that font the "official" font of BG athletics? I know the arched "Bowling" is something we haven't seen. And it doesn't look as if it has the lean to it.

Its hard to tell in that pic if thats the "new" BG font or not. You'd think it would be since the new font is appearing in more and more places.

I'm... uh, excited.
That is a damn fine looking jersey, and reminds me of the hockey jerseys of the 80's and 90's.... VERY WELL DONE!
The numbers are definitely the new font, or a close variation thereof, I'd guess the lettering is the same.
(Of course, you realize, this means Tootsie Rolls need to make an appearance at AA now...)

There's no question those have the new font. You won't find a jersey without that font at this University anymore.
With that said, love these jerseys. I totally agree with making brown "our's." Also, I agree with Tony that they kind of have the 80s hockey style (something I wish we'd go back to).

Actually, the women's bball jerseys have featured that font with the arched "Bowling" for a couple of seasons now. I like that we're getting some consistency between the tow basketball teams in terms of jersey design. Also, brown is beautiful!Warthog wrote:From a visual standpoint, I do like them.
