My biggest worry going into Friday is that the confidence of this team, especially on offense, is going to wain without these two talented young men. It's time for guys like Marques Parks, Chris Wright, Derek Brighton etc. to step up and fill in for Corey, and for Bullock and Macon to fill in for Willie.
Good post, jpfalcon09. I'm confident Brighton will step up again. He did very well on a big stage in East Lansing. Parks had a rough night against OU. He needs to bounce back in a big way cuz I thought he was having a pretty good year up to that point....he now has 24 catches for 300+ yards and 4 td's...but the other night he had a case of the dropsies. Can't afford to have that happen again. Tyrone Pronty needs to reappear as well. What about Cheatem and Kelley? Two Jucos that have experience...did we bring both of them here for a combined 3 receptions? I know there have been some injuries but man, I heard these guys were the deal.

I think Dan Macon is playing with a real sense of urgency these days...the games are passing by and he is a SR. Maybe he goes out with a bang and kicks tail from here on out. Bullock...I don't get this. Almost 800 yards last year and 160 this year. True Geter became the featured back but I'd like to see him bulling his way with the ball...and Winny too. He's a SR and his time left is short.

There is definitely talent at the back up positions. Nobody is a "rookie" anymore. We're heading into the 9th game of the season and we need production from all players in all phases. Unlike last year, I wanna see a team fight the full 60 minutes every game. There will be things that go wrong in every game...we knew there would be no easy wins this year.

One thing that doesn't concern me one bit...if the game is on the line and we need a FG to win, Vrvilo will make it. :-D

I did read this post. People get off with 1st time infactions. We'll see how their careers go before they get labeled as a wuss. And yes they do give shots for these injuries. ankle sprains especially.

I am crazy, and even I think you are way off base, Falconballer.
