AT Sighting

Post by zeket10 »

AT is one of most consistant players this year (besides Cory and Freddie) you got to give him the ball. The first drive of the 3rd quarter is evidence of this. Give AT the ball and good things will happen!

AT scores touchdowns even thought the defense knows exactly were he is going, jus imagine if they gave him more than 2 plays.

Yeah...you'd have last year and a 4-8 record!

AT has a lot of value to this team as a RB. He has good size and he's got quick feet. He has to lean to hit the hoile and take wht is there rather than bouncing outside so much, but he could be a real asset spelling Geter and/or Ransom.

J5 started out as aRB here and became a fixture at QB. How cool would it be for AT to come back from stumbling at bit at QB to be a top flight RB?
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

that would be a far better use of the talents he possesses.

Kordell had a very good college career and played in a few pro bowl games in the NFL. Who would not want a player that can change the face of the game with his versatility and talent. If that is all AT will be for a team, I will take him.

And we finally let him throw a pass and it goes for a TD!!! Finally, we let him attempt a pass and it was a great call. He faked a run and stepped back and hit the receiver in stride for six!

That was the first touchdown play that put us up 7-0. Man did Akron get caught with their pants down. Barnes (I think it was Barnes) was wide open and AT got it to him for the TD. That was a nice little momentum boost for the offense too, as they kept on scoring all throughout the first half.

Chris Wright caught the TD from AT.

That AT pass exemplifies why this offense is really awesome with a dual threat QB. That play was straight out of the Florida playbook. Just an awesome game.

I have been loathe to say anything on here (publicly) about it, but I have been telling my father all season long that the first time AT throws a pass, it's going for six, and I'll be damned if I wasn't right. Watching the replay of that play was absolutely incredible. The ENTIRE secondary bit on the run, and AT did a superb job of selling the run. Now, everytime AT is lined up a QB there will be a giant "?" hanging over opposing defensive coordinator's heads. :)
