J5 started out as aRB here and became a fixture at QB. How cool would it be for AT to come back from stumbling at bit at QB to be a top flight RB?

Did not see the game, but I would think next year, A-trains real value or main value will be as a slot receiver shifting then to the RB/QB. His size and athleticism is perfect for the WR spot and if he can flash some stuff we will see what he can do to get in the NFL.

I saw he got alot of carries tonight. Was that in a set with Sheehan or with him as QB?

About half and half.

What I really enjoyed was seeing a lot more plays from under center. However, it seems like we run only two plays: stretch right, and play action off that. I was rather disappointed that TS underthrew Barnes on that play-action in the 3rd quarter. Hitting that route could have pulled some of the pressure off the running game when TS is under center.

Heck...just turn him loose and let him play. That's pretty much what they diod with him last night and he dominated that game in the first half. He ran the ball, he caught the ball, he threw the ball and he PLASTERED an Akron DB on a peel back block when Tyler was running down the sidelines.

I couldn't be happier for that kid, it looks like he's finally in a position to maximize his skills here.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Absolutely agree. AT is a weapon when used properly. Kid has a lot of athletic ability, even if it didn't work out for him at QB.

With the injuries to Ransom, Geter, and Partridge, it's really nice to have a guy like AT to turn to when were needing some plays.

Turner played marvelously.

The coaching staff just needs to call plays that get him moving North-South instead of East-West. When he's running downhill with a head of steam, look out.
