Don't laugh at Notre Dame, be happy for Navy. Gosh, do I love watching the acadamies win!

Well then make sure you watch ND/Air Force and ND/Army...did you also see that Ohio State is creeping in on the record for most weeks at #1??? Only 5 behind ND now!

ND is so bad, it boggles the mind. The scalpers must be tearing their hair out in South Bend. There must be a new-hire curse at Notre Dame, the longer the contract, the worse they play. If they are smart, the next time around, they'll have a required number of wins clause.

In any case, Urban Meyer is looking good, both for not takin the job, winning a title at Florida, and after all the ND fans gave him hell for not taking their job.

Well, considering ND doesn't play Army this year... :?

And if you want some interesting history about WHY ND continues to play Navy each year, check out this article. Very interesting. My dad and sis are both ND grads and I didn't know this story.

Notre Dame vs Florida why ND will likely never be the program they were.

Location: Cold Snowy South Bend vs. Warm Sunny Gainesville

Coeds: Frumpy Catholic Girl Overachievers vs. Self Bronzing, Blonde Hair, Busty Sun fed women (on and the fact that ND is more than 65% male and Florida is more than 55% female)

Party Scene - ND... does one exist? Fla - Do people go to class?

Cool Factor - ND (Windchill) vs. Fla (Gatorade)

Academics - Tough vs. Sports and Leisure

Facilities - 1970s vs. Everything seems to be new every year

Did I mention warm weather, hot coeds, lots of parties?

ND has had its time.

I really enjoyed seeing Navy win. To see the excitement on the faces of the Navy players was priceless. I had Josh and Jake watch with me cuz Navy hadn't won since the Middle Ages. Told them both "You'll remember this years from now!" GO NAVY!

And seeing ND at 1-8? Priceless. Notre Shame is a long, long way from where it used to be.

I'm interested to see if they wind up getting pre-season votes for the Top 25 next year.

I am surprised they are not getting votes now. Maybe if they beat Duke.
