2008 Non-Conference Schedule

Post by WestChesterFalcon »

New to the Forum here! I graduated in 02 and currently reside in the Cincinnati area.

Other than hosting the Minn. "Goofers" and playing at Boise, what does the rest of our non-conference schedule look like for 2008?

I thought we had a return date with WKU on the books for next year
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

2 years would make sense. I'm pretty sure WKU will still be a transitional DI-BCS team next year. Waiting two years, allows them to become a full D1 team so wel aren't traveling to a school that is a division lower.

Is Boise State ever coming here? Are we really going to play there twice before they come here once? If so, to quote Mike Gundy, "that's garbage."

2008 OOC Sked...

@ Pitt
Minnesota
@ Boise State
@ Wyoming

Last I heard Boise State was showing up at the Doyt in 2011. And, the kicker? I heard we will be going back there in 2013. Basically a 3 for 1 deal...with a WAC school.

By 2011 they'll be in the Pac-10 or something, haha. What a joke with scheduling. I hate the 3 road games again for OOC.

That's WAC. We get Wyoming at home in '09 right? That's alot of Brown.

Did we actually agree to go to Boise twice/three times before they won the Fiesta Bowl, or are they big-timing us with their new fame?

I have said this before on other threads. BG in Heinz Field next year will be awesome. There is a big BG alumni group in Pittsburgh, Hopefully we can make Heinz Field brown and orange. The only time brown and orange is welcome at heinz :-D
