Also, the two "non-conf." conference games against the West aren't going to be "gimmes' either. EMU has certainly improved and UT's OFFENSE is becoming absolutely scary...especially since we don't seem to be able to stop anyone consistently.
A four-way tie in the MAC East is very possible

ONE GAME AT A TIME, Guys! And don't worry about who is doing what to whom on other fields, because we don't have a damn thing to say about it.

Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)
More likely...
We can hope for the 3rd bid from a MAC school to go to the International Bowl. If we win out, and Ball State wins out, we'd end up 8-4 with Ball State being 7-5, it'd be up to the bowl to pick between the two of us.
Winning the East is not highly likely after we layed an egg against OU (and MU for that matter). But we can hope to be playing North of the Boarder in January...

Well, 137 Ohio turnovers or whatever probably helped that number.Falconfreak90 wrote:UT may suck but they have scored 165 points in their last 3 games.bobio wrote:Our defense will have to play the game of their lives to get past Buffalo. I beg to differ. I think Toledo is better than Buffalo. Buffalo has just been opportunistic because 3 of their 4 wins have been within the East division. Toledo's overall record is better, and their offense is MUCH better than Buffalo's. Buffalo has the better defense to be sure, and I know Buffalo beat Toledo at UB earlier this year, but I think Toledo is going to be the tougher game for us. I haven't given Buffalo any respect all year, and I still don't. I think we go to Buffalo and win that game, but Toledo will give us a hard time because we won't be able to stop their offense.bobio wrote:Our defense will have to play the game of their lives to get past Buffalo. I know...but UT scored "only" 43 points with EIGHT OU TO's. They put up 70 on a bad NIU team and 52 last week. Just saying that's a lot of points.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:Well, 137 Ohio turnovers or whatever probably helped that number.Falconfreak90 wrote:UT may suck but they have scored 165 points in their last 3 games.bobio wrote:Our defense will have to play the game of their lives to get past Buffalo. Of course when you play 6 home games in 7 weeks, I'm sure that helps. UT hasn't won on the road all year...and they don't play well in Muncie. But neither does Ball State!
BEAT EMU!!
