My first SEC Game, Seeing Urban Again

Post by Dayons_Den »

So this weekend I'll be taking in all the sights and sounds of an SEC football Saturday. A full day of tailgating at the state fairgrounds before the evening kickoff of Steve Spurrier's USC Gamecocks and Urban Meyer's Florida Gators.

I am pretty excited and although these two teams have stumbled a bit this season, the game will be intense and exciting and the night atmosphere should be great!

Carolina will be ready to "Cock and Fire" and I'm sure Tebow Time will be ready to roll

I'm excited to see all the pageantry of SEC gameday and also to see Urbie run his roadshow again. The last Urban-coached team game I saw was BG at NIU on November 9, 2002 a loss for the Falcons 26-17.

I would love to get to an SEC game someday.

BTW, it was good seeing your dad at the Akron game! I saw the flags and thought "How did Noel get up here for this game????" You dad was representin' for yas.

I don't recall seeing him say he was a student at either of the schools. What exactly are you trying to prove?

..but seriously, isn't there some big front-runner board somewhere for the likes of you?

Sure he can...why not? He isn't a student of EITHER of those schools.

In fact, I don't think DD has ever rooted for his alma mater at a BG game... dick.

I was supposed to be there but my tickets fell through :( . so pissed...was gonna be my first SEC game as well...originially planned to go catch the final game at the Orange Bowl, then this came up and just found out today that I can't make it, too late to make any plans to head down to Miami, so I'm screwed, have to watch football on tv this weekend. :( :( :( :(
