WMU-CMU game 11/6/07

I've been to both places for games. From my experience, CMU fans are much more tolerable.

I mean that, strap yourself in, it may be the only way you can stand to watch the entire game.

I don't understand why it takes 10 minutes to review the calls. It isn't even the MAC; officials throughout college football are guilty of this.

The networks have the replays up instantaneously and it takes about 40 seconds to look at it from a couple different angels and make a determination. Nevertheless, the process almost always gets dragged out and ruins the flow of the game.

I've been to both a couple times as well. While WMU fans aren't the friendliest around, CMU is far worse. Most of their students are total drunken idiots that scream obscenities the whole time. The CMU fans verbally attack opposing fans from the moment you step into the stadium area. And the cops at CMU? Please. They won't lift a finger to help the visting fans and were pretty rude to Mrs. Freak and me in 2002. In 2004, I had the Freaklings in the "Family Lot" knowing the student lot and ones near it would be a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad idea. And we still were getting railed. These CMU students were yelling and harrassing BG fans with some pretty hard core stuff. They trash their own lots and act like cavemen. Mt. Pleasant is commonly referred to as Mt Not So Pleasant in our house.

Even inside the stadium, when BG was winning by double digits, we constantly had the "BG SUCKS!!! BG F'ING SUCKS!!!" coming our way. Nothing is better than beatins aholes like that in their own house. The "Why So Quiet?" cheer never sounded better than after beating those clods. Mrs. Freak said she will NEVER go back there to another game.

I realize every school has their bad apples...but CMU has a freakin' bad orchard. CMU = CaveMen University.

I know it's a longshot for us to win the East, but this game is the 1st step in helping our chances. Hopefully, OU truly fears the Roo. Go Zippers!

I was wondering when you were gonna chime in! The CMU fans (at least the students) are the worst in the MAC...by a mile.

I'm glad someone else said it first. That whole University would make a great nuclear testing facility. Their fans, students and non-students alike are as rude as it gets. And it is almost condoned by the administration because their staff acts the same way. The whole place is nothing more than a boil on the azz of humanity.
