Some serious issue with the Poll
Notice the suckeyes got 2 votes for having been swept by Ferris and that for having done the sweeping Ferris gets non....
Polls blow
the top 20 is more closely linked to the top three or four from Major hockey conferences and thats it.

I haven't followed college hockey that closely the last 5 years, I didn't realize Robert Morris had a D1 team. Robert Morris is basically a commuter school. I wonder where the hell they play their home games? I can't think of any place in Pittsburgh besides the dumpy igloo or Southpointe where the Pens practise. It can't be any of those.

I truely hope BG can improve out of the bottom of the pack. Good luck!

Don't worry about Robert Morris. Their hockey site is managed by one of the Hanson brothers.

I grew up in Pittsburgh, I just could not believe they had a program. If I am correct that used to be a roller skating rink. I used to go as a kid. It is on a island in the Ohio River. The island is a dump.

Not sure why, but the USCHO polls always seem to have a CCHA bias. In my opinion the WCHA is the far superior conference from top to bottom. The east is never represented well in the polls over than BC.

Thats why Hockey in the end is honest, and we thankfully have a playoff system where game plays decides who the best is.

i've been there! it is on an island. miami played there last year so i made a weekend out of it...miami/rmu on saturday night and pens/caps on sunday afternoon. we had an alumni group gathering at, yes, a bowling alley across the street from the rink which is a glorified rec rink. it seats about 1,200, has a center skate shop, cafe, fitness area and a second sheet across the way. it's not bad, actually!

Yeah - it's a decent little place. RMU is actually advertising fairly heavily for their hockey games on most FSN Pens broadcasts.
