Ohio High School Playoffs.
Just to open the thread, no selections yet, but any rumors in the works as to how, when, or if BGSU might host any games?

The sites will be determine based upon the teams that are playing each other. The selection will have more to do with GEOGRAPHY than the facility or the promotion of the facility by the BGSU Athletic Department. We will need to wait for the results of the first round (Regional quarterfinal) games before the OHSAA will assign anything. You will be able to speculate potential match-ups based upon those first round games because it is bracketed based upon #1-8 seeds in each region.
Anyways this is how the OHSAA describes the process:

SECTION 2 – TOURNAMENT MANAGEMENT
1. Tournament Sites
1.1 Regional quarterfinal games will be played at the home site of the highest ranked teams in each region. Quarterfinal games will be played at the time and on the date as adopted by the Board of Control. If the site of the higher ranked team is not available at that time/date then the higher ranked team shall obtain a neutral site. If a neutral site is not available the game will be played at the opponent’s field. When the host site has an unlighted field the game will be played at 1:30 p.m. on November 3.
1.2 The Commissioner will select the sites for all regional semi, final and the state semifinal games. The site of all tournament games will be based upon the best site available and, when feasible, in a general area between the two schools.
1.3 The Commissioner retains the authority to assign any tournament game to the home site of a competing team, but primary consideration is given to a site not used as a home site by either team during the regular season.

I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.
For whatever reason it doesn't look like BGSU will host any playoff games this year. The sites for next week's regional finals were announced today and the Doyt was not among them. I thought the Liberty-Benton vs. Patrick Henry D-5 game might be a consideration but that game will be played in Findlay.
For the state semis the following week, Friday is out because of the BG/UT game. Division 1,4, and 6 are on Saturday and no D-1 teams from NW Ohio are left. I guess a couple remote possibilities would be if Eastwood and Coldwater made it to the semis in D-4 or a Hopewell-Loudon vs. Ada/Arlington winner in D-6.
I'm assuming cost/lack of revenue is the top contributing factor that is keeping a game from being played at BG.
