I'm shocked that after giving up 32 points that one of our defensive players won PoTW. But I guess 18 tackles is impressive no matter what the score is. Congrats Glen!

I have to wonder if our scheme is to direct runners to Haneline/Stanley's position since they seem to be two of our few players able to tackle...

Congrats to Glen on winning this award. That's great for a first time start.

But, I wonder if that chart where tackles are made like in basketball where they chart were shots are taken. It would be interesting to see how many of those 18 tackles were within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage and how many are 8+ yards down the field

Man, what a way for Glen to get going. Regardless of where the tackles were made, it says something about this kid's motor...he's all over the field.

CONGRATS GLEN!!!

Players of the Week

Post by Class of 61 »

Even though this doesn't technically belong in the FB forums, what about the fact that, in addition to Glen Stanley, we had the POW in Women's basketball, Hockey, Men't basketball and the Scholar Athlete of the Week...all at the same time? Wonder if anything like this has ever happened before? Says a LOT about our student athletes IMO.

BG sports is racking up the POW honors this week! Football, men's and women's basketball, and hockey. Am I missing any?
