BG getting some attention

Post by Freddie »

It's been a while since we had this many votes on the polls.

This is an exciting team to watch...if you're not watching, you've got no idea what you're missing.

Holy crap! As down as we've been I was thinking it would take a lot more to get some national attention, but this is just awesome! :D

And check out the top 3-4 in both of those polls. Suck it, WCHA.

Nah, fewer teams and a respected league = quicker recognition.

My hope is that the fans respond with a good turnout this Friday and Saturday. Marketing needs to get these things on the website!

Man, I wish I could be there! I can't remember the last time we've been ranked, and a sweep of NMU will only put us higher!

Keep up the good work falcons!!

It's been a while since we had this many votes on the polls.
two seasons ago we were ranked 20th after our 8-2 run in mid season. We beat the likes of MSU,OSUx2,Colgate,Clarkson, and St.Lawrence. We fell apart in the end. Hopefully that doesnt happen this year

Even with that kind of national credit, everyone here knew that the '05 team wasn't any good. With Horrell being sketchy at best, and Spratt being in his first (god awful) season. We made a mid season run when there was no one on campus and it mounted up to nothing. I don't even remember feeling excited about it at all. However, this year getting four in a row has lit a fire among a lot of people around campus.
Yeah right girl!

Talent wise I thought the 05 team was as exciting to watch as any team that year. Unfortunatley all the talent was on one line. Foster, Matsumoto, Falk line was a scoring machine. This team doesn't have that stand out line. Instead this team looks like a complete team. Hopefully a series sweep this weekend and into the top 20.
