Wednesday Night Football: Akron at Miami
0-0 in the 1st, Akron just forced a Miami punt.

I agree. Here are just a few angry thoughts on ESPN mid-week MAC games: http://exit181.blogspot.com/2007/11/aff ... ction.htmlTricky_Falcon wrote:It's nice that these games are on tv but they always take a back seat to the BCS standings and which team deserves to go to the national championship or who is in the race for the heisman.

Is this really a MAC game? Since when do we play defense in this conference?
Giving Miami their due, they are suffering from a lot of injuries right now. They've been banged up all year, but from what I can tell, the injuries are really starting to catch up to them. Akron, on the other hand, has really come on strong here over the last few weeks. Jacquemaine (however the hell you spell that), though, looks atrocious so far. If he can figure it out, or if Akron can bring someone else in for the second half, Akron has a heck of a shot at this game.

What in the wide, wide world of sports is goin on out there!?!?!
I just turned the game on, 13+ left in the fourth and its scoreless? And no apparent tornadoes, mud pits or 30-degree, 40MPH winds to deal with?
At this point, I hope Akron wins 2-0 with a safety.
