Dear MAC,

Please don't ever put these two teams together on a nationally televised game ever again. Thank you.

Sincerely,

How did we let Miami score 47 points on us?

Tough to take that we're out of the MAC title hunt, but I am glad that game is over. Putrid play from both sides, but congrats to the 'Skins for being less putrid than the Roos.

I have watched a lot more MAC football this fall than I have in previous years and the level of play is embarassing. The conference is very young overall and the next couple years should be an improvement, but we have a bunch of terrible football teams. Along with C-USA, we're falling down toward the Sun Belt.

Many MAC games this year have just been glorified high school games. It's been a horrible season overall for the conference, and I think the MACC might be ugly score wise, especially if Miami plays the way they did tonight.

I'm not so sure I can agree with that. I've watched Friday Night Frenzy once or twice and actually been entertained and mildly impressed. I can say neither about tonight.

F--- The Roo!

I'm glad I only wasted about 15 minutes of my life on that, I feel sorry for those of you that watched it all. Go scrub your eyeballs.

What was bad about tonight? Miami's defense played awesome, their offense choked around the goal line and turned the ball over.

I will say this much Miami doesn't play too well during weeknight games.

Wow. J.D. Brookhart may be the worst college coach I have ever seen. I mean, for crying out loud, I thought BG's play calling last year was about as "vanilla" as it could possibly get, but I just got a whole new definition of "vanilla" tonight.

If we ever think we have coaching problems here at BG, all we need to do is look to the Akron/Kent region of the state and realize that it could be much, much worse.

But we can't blame the weather on tonight's performance.

At least in that game the conditions were terrible. Rain, wind, cold, the field was a mess. From the sound of it all there was tonight was some wind.

And not nearly enough wind to even come close to accounting for the abysmal level of play from the QB's tonight. I love a defensive game more than just about anyone, but that was just putrid tonight.

That might have been the most horrid game I've seen all year. Both teams looked really bad.

Well, if the last two nights of MAC football have shown us anything - it is basically that we need to win out to have any shot at securing a bowl bid. We didn't get any help in these two games and we're likely not to get any the rest of the way either. Beat Buffalo, Beat Toledo - Go Bowling (Green).

In six pages of posts, not one person took time to praise the tackling skills on display last night.

The irony is, we've probably had 50 pages of posts these last three years decrying the tackling skills of the Falcons.
