BG is still in full control of its destiny. Win out and we play a 13th game. I'm with Drew on this....we need to take care of business this week at Buffalo and then move on.
And there is no guarantee Ball State will beat NIU. I know it isn't likely but as we've seen all year in college football, the unlikely happens. I will root for NIU next week so BSU finishes 6-6.
First....BEAT BUFFALO!!!!
Impact of this week's mid-week MAC games on BG

Well there is no guarantee, If BG wins out and goes 8-4 (5-2) and Ball State goes 7-5 (4-2), I still think the better overall and MAC record, would benefit BG.mikespicer wrote:Just wanted to point out that there's no guarantee an 8-4 BG gets in over a 7-5 BSU. The only stipulation on records is that a 7-5 goes before a 6-6 team. That's it.
I think BG would go as well in that scenario.tiznow wrote:Well there is no guarantee, If BG wins out and goes 8-4 (5-2) and Ball State goes 7-5 (4-2), I still think the better overall and MAC record, would benefit BG.mikespicer wrote:Just wanted to point out that there's no guarantee an 8-4 BG gets in over a 7-5 BSU. However, I cannot help but think there will be those who feel BSU's close game against Nebraska is a better achievement than any of BG's wins this year. I don't think it will matter, BG should, and most likely would, get that bid, but you never know.
