Very nice start for the two Falcon signees. Maribeth Geise's Mercy team knocked off a very good Cincinnati Princetion team in their opener. Geise had 17 points and nine rebounds. Jessica Slagle's Lehman Catholic Cavaliers won their first two in a season opening tournament. Slagle had 16 in the final game. Her team revolves around two players- Jess and S Freytag. I note that only four players scored for Lehman (with nearly all the scoring from the two) so hopefully their will better balance going forward for Lehman.
Go Falcons!
