Yea...Only one game can I remember a BG team with some of these players on it actually thinking that they should and would win easily. That game RIT two years ago (only Matzy showed up.) Don't know where or why anyone would believe this BG team would get cocky after two straight awful last place seasons.

We agree on that PEG, i think these guys know that they will sadly only be as popular as the most recent victory and that they stand good chance to be shat upon by some should they drop one. upsie is that they are motivated and playing very well, and I am very much looking forward to their heads up hockey this weekend and it sure seems 99% of everyone on here is as well.
Sadly it doesn't seem that there has been to much interest in tickets...but the big ticket night has always been game night...so we will have to wait and see on the crowds.

Hey that was good information and real good article.
I do agree that for some strange reason the CCHA as a whole has issues come NCAA playoff time, and that our refs are to tightly wound. I wish the refs would lay a bit more but it is what it is and at least they are consistent about it.
a good read with 10 1/2 hours to go.

with our power play clicking. I don't mind seeing every penalty being called. The one thing I can say about the refs is that they are consistant. They seem to evenly call the games. Yes, they call many small things, but it goes both ways, and whats more exciting in hockey 5-5 or 5-4.

I'm pretty pumped for the game tonight. I hope we come out and play well and keep it going on the powerplay. Who do you think gets the start in net? I think Eno will get his first home start of the season and then BG will come back with Spratt tomorrow night. Let's Rock the Rink! Go Falcons! Sweep the 'Cats!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering about this and I was leaning towards the thought that Sprat would get the start tonight followed by Eno on Sat, since Eno started the first game of the last series.

I hope by consistent, you mean consistently bad. The CCHA has some seriously inconsistent refs that call some penalties for no other reason than to equal the power play opportunities. Makes for horrible hockey in my book.
