I disagree. I think your perception of Buffalo is based on your very limited experience with them in the MAC. You weren't here for it (and neither was I, for that matter), but I don't think anyone thought Marshall would be anything to contend with when they joined the MAC.bgsufalcon24 wrote:Nothing to it. Like I said, Buffalo is a pretender, and that's all they'll ever be. Good win by the Falcons.
Now let's smack Toledo!!!
Who knows? Maybe Buffalo will get really good and their fans will start throwing batteries and bags of urine at children. Your unsubstantive, definitive statements have struck me as completely queer all day long.

I should add, just to nip it in the bud now, that I didn't mean "queer" in the "gay" sense. I meant it in the "odd" sense. The very "odd" sense.

You didn't really need to qualify, because let's face it, we don't get along and we don't agree on anything for the most part. If you think my comments are queer, fine I don't really care. All I care about is that we won the game and that we're 7-4.Bleeding Orange wrote:I should add, just to nip it in the bud now, that I didn't mean "queer" in the "gay" sense. Basically all I know about UB is that they suck complete ass at football. They are 4-7, and yet most people on their message board consider that a success. Last year when we were 4-7 people were getting ready to run Gregg Brandon out of town. Obviously their team hasn't been anywhere of note in a while, other than the ESPN Bottom 10 based on those lowly expectations. Yes I understand I'm not very polished when it comes to the longstanding history of the MAC. But doggone it, if we're facing some team with little to no history and that is currently bad (a la Buffalo or Eastern Michigan) then I expect a win. I don't think that's queer.
Maybe I was a bit off base by saying that Buffalo would always be a pretender though.
