So Toledo sophomore wide receiver Stephen Williams needs 105 yards receiving to break Lance Moore's single season receiving yardage record at Toledo. BG's defense is better against the pass than the run though. Do you guys think he will do it?
Any BG players within striking distance of a school record coming into the game?

I think the weather will keep it low scoring and close.

4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!
Cold weather, a lot of running for both teams, but when Sheehan throws he'll be quite effective and efficient, where UT can't get a passing attack going and turns very one-dimensional. The BG defense stands tall similar to the game vs Buffalo and James Starks.

Wow. I didn't expect that. Lance was a beast. I never liked the fact that he went to UT, but being from the same HS, I was happy to see him do so well.rocketfootball wrote:So Toledo sophomore wide receiver Stephen Williams needs 105 yards receiving to break Lance Moore's single season receiving yardage record at Toledo. If he wants to get it he probably will RF. Our defensive stats are better against the pass than run, but that's mostly by the design of our opponents. Our passing defense is really not that stellar either; most opponents have just chosen to run rather than pass on us.
If you're just chucking it around all day I'd expect Mahone to make some plays downfield, but the rest of our secondary has really struggled at times this year...especially getting beaten on big plays. As is the case with many defenses our ability to stop the pass is almost solely dependent on our ability to get pressure on the QB...which has been spotty at best.
