Great pics, Paul! (And much more palatable to view than the last three years. )

Thanks for sharing!

BG-TU pix

Thanks for the pix...you really captured the "spirit" of the game...on BOTH sides, which made it fun to watch. I try to tell people not familiar with the MAC that this is the OSU-UM game in "miniature"...in terms of crowd size only, not INTENSITY.

Great shots. Thanks a lot. I thought about being the photo editor at the paper and having to pick just two or three to run. Talk about a hard job.

What I used for the game (3 cameras):
Canon 30D, Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS lens w/1.4x extender (telephoto shots)
Canon 20D, Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 lens (wide-angle shots)
Canon S400 point-and-shoot for really wide angle (only kept one - from outside the stadium)

I furnish my own gear, so I'm pretty close to pro-level stuff (my next steps). Gets me by for most events except the really long sports (soccer, baseball outfields, etc). House, dog, etc, etc. get in the way of getting more :)

However, I'm getting pretty good with the stuff above...still have room for improvement and every game is a learning experience. Talk about a tricky lighting situation. This game reminded me of the UM/OSU game last year that I covered with the pure daylight to night transitions.
