Too bad we couldn't take on a 1AA at home instead of Boston College...

The MAC sucks this year, not to discount a currently 8-4 BG season. As I noted in another thread, in 1995 Miami was the best in the league, losing to I think Central, and with a tie against Toledo. Yet a UT with a lesser record and team got the league title and bowl game. Was UT the best team? No, did they get the title by the rules, yes, it seems. Donno. In the end, its those games you lose that are the ones that stick in a craw. And if BG should have won a few games, it can be said they ought to have easily lost as many. It all cuts both ways.

In any case, lets see how the next few weeks shake out, then pronounce judgments.
